DOMAIN - database for digital tasks in mathematics

The use of digital mathematics tasks in university teaching is becoming increasingly widespread. With the increased possibilities for the automatic evaluation of digital tasks (e.g. with the help of a computer algebra system) and the modelling of an individual feedback conducive to learning, the effort for the creation of these tasks is also increasing.

With the DOMAIN database, an independent platform (independent of the eLearning system used) has been created through which teachers can efficiently exchange digital tasks with each other. When designing the system and the user interface, emphasis was placed on rapid searchability based on characteristic features.

Usage

In principle, DOMAIN can be used by anyone, but is primarily aimed at teachers at schools and universities. You can simply register yourself by entering an email address here: register. Answers to the most frequently asked questions can be found at Help. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy can be found here: TOS

Cooperation

The platform is available to all universities. At present, the development of the database and the collection of high-quality tasks is being promoted with several cooperation partners. If you are interested in the technical and/or content development of the database, please contact ak-mathe-digital@rub.de.

The development of DOMAIN is supported by a Fellowship for Innovations in Digital Higher Education of the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Stifterverband.
